Appearances[]

Ultimate Showdown Title 04

Yoda's appearance in the title cards.

Spritesheet[]

Yoda first appeared to the public in Sheet #21. He was the 621st character made for the game.

Title Card[]

On the title card splash screen, Yoda can be found at the far right corner of the 40 panels, officially referred to as "Title Card #4". Here he is found standing behind Bomb Man, Shirobon Bomberman and Kurobon Bomberman; taking on Stay Puft by thrusting his lightsaber into his leg, cooking him... Which is surprisingly ineffectual. He appears to have joined forces with fellow Jedi Saesee Tiin, though the latter is being attacked by Darth Nihilus.

Abilities[]

Alliances[]

If the player controlling Yoda chooses to ally with a player controlling Chewbacca, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Luke Skywalker, Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, or Qui-Gon Jinn, both players will experience a +1% bonus to stats. Characters other than Yoda in this transaction will instead receive a 5% boost when in close proximity to Yoda.

Rivalries[]

Yoda can deal 150% extra damage to Sith characters Darth Tyrannus and Darth Sidious. When targeting either of these characters as his primary target, his Force usage drops by 2%.

Expert Pilot[]

Yoda can fly aircraft and starships.

Force Abilities[]

  • Force Boost: Though normally very slow in movement, Yoda can boost his speed and agility using the Force to greatly increase his skills.
  • Force Deflection: Yoda cannot be hit by laser, bullet, or blaster shots so long as he is not in the middle of an attack. These shots are ricocheted back into the environment, where they can hit other players, including the original shooter.
  • Force Healing: Yoda can heal himself or another player.
  • Saber Throw: Yoda can throw his lightsaber like a boomerang as a dangerous ranged attack.
  • Telekinesis:
    • Force Barrier: Yoda can activate a temporary shield to block incoming attacks. Keeping this power active consistently drains Yoda's Force power at a fast rate of speed.
    • Force Choke: Yoda can hold a single target at bay while draining the life out of them. Keeping this power active gradually drains Yoda's Force power at a moderate rate of speed.
    • Force Push: Yoda can push or pull any opponent in a direction, possibly sending them crashing into an object. This can be done with inanimate objects as well. Keeping this power active gradually drains Yoda's Force power at a slow rate of speed but using it to actually push the item drains a chunk of energy away.
    • Force Repulse: With one sudden movement, Yoda can push all objects and players away from himself, protecting himself but also potentially damaging his opponents in the process. Using this technique will drain a decent-sized chunk of his Force energy away.
    • Force Stasis: Yoda can stop a moving object — including other players — so long as he concentrates on the power. Keeping this power active gradually drains Yoda's Force power at a moderate rate of speed.

Lightsaber Abilities[]

  • Form IV -- Ataru Form: Yoda has mastered the Form IV Ataru saber form. This is a speedy aggressive stance and almost entirely focused on offense with nearly zero defense. It is useful in open areas and is used to bring an opponent down quickly. A drawback of this style is that it cannot be used properly in tight spaces but also drains energy from the user, eventually exhausting them.
  • Form VI -- Niman Form: Yoda has also mastered the Form VI Niman saber form. This is a balanced stance focusing more on defense. It is the least physical of lightsaber stances and uses a lot of Force powers.
